About Dr. McDonald
Dr. McDonald grew up in the Tri-Cities, the youngest of three siblings. While in Guatemala on a mission trip for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he assisted a visiting U.S. dentist and was inspired to begin a career in dentistry. Dr. McDonald strives to create a personalized experience for his patients and is excited to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the Central Washington area.
Dr. McDonald is a member of the leadership of the North Central Washington Dental Society.
Education & Residency
Dr. McDonald received his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University, graduating in 2007. In 2012, he completed dental school at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. His passion for anatomy and surgical procedures led him to an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, which he completed at the University of Washington, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in 2016. During his OMS residency, he trained at Seattle Children’s Harborview, UW Med Center, and the Veterans Hospital.
Interests & Hobbies
Dr. McDonald is married to his beautiful wife, Kathryn, and together they have three wild but wonderful daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family by hiking, biking, and going to the park.
